The work involves geochemical and geochronlogical studies on the volcanic suite of rocks of the region. The geochronology is being done using Ar-Ar sytematics. The volcanics are thought to be part of the Malani Igneous Suite. My work aims at obtaining a clear geochronological framework of the area. The work will lead to improvement in understanding the crustal evolution of the area.
